The specific topic is “Politics and Asset Prices: China’s Anti-corruption Campaign and Prices of Luxury Homes in Beijing”. Using condo sales from 2012 to 2018 in Beijing, the Author empirically investigate whether China’s anti-corruption campaign influenced government and party officials’demand for luxury homes and thus affected their prices.

嘉宾简介：彭亮教授是美国宾州州立大学Smeal商学院讲座教授，他长期从事房地产金融、住房市场、住房价格指数等方面的研究，在国际顶级期刊发表论文23篇，在房地产领域具有很高的学术声望。
